Bloody (Slip)Stream

There are five good reasons why Optimus Prime should not be afraid of their target...

1. The signal dampener on their ship will ensure that they can sneak up to their target  
before it can have a chance to even think about fleeing...  

2. He has a squad of seasoned Autoroopers backing him up...

3. He has Jetstorm and Jetfire with him to provide air support, and if somehow that lacks the air support he needs, they can form into Safeguard to really put the hurt into their  
target...

4. He has the magnus hammer with him!

5. He took down MEGATRON in single combat!

    So why does he feel uneasy in trying to take down ONE Decepticon after he took down  
THE Decepticon? The Constructicons, Wreck-gar, heck the DINOBOTS are all accounted for and properly integrated to earth society, surely one Starscream clone should not present that much of a threat now should it?

    "Maybe it's because it's HER?!" Optimus thought to himself. Slipstream's the last  
unaccounted Cybertronian on Earth and probably the most dangerous. Optimus still feels  
ashamed on how easily she took him down the last time they met, but things are different  
this time. He has the numbers, the firepower and most importantly, the experience at aerial combat to deal with her this time. This time he's ready!

    Intel provided by Sumdac Systems has pinpointed Slipstream's current location: Cairo, Egypt. It's unknown why she's not leaving Egyptian airspace but they can give a reasonable explanation on why she's there in the first place. Optimus tells his team to prepare for combat as they're entering the target area in 10 minutes. Optimus strengthens his grip on the hammer, it time for redemption.

    Slipstream's been circling the city of Cairo like a vulture waiting for a doomed beast to enter death's embrace, keeping her sensors on anything that moves. Too bad for her, today she's the hunted! She suddenly felt pain on her fuselage as Jetstorm and Jetfire's attacks rained down from above. It's not fatal but it DID hurt! She thought of retaliating but the blunt force of Optimus' hammer attack forced her down to the ground, HARD!!! It took every bit of her concentration to will her transformation cog to change form to give her some sort of defense but she found herself surrounded by Autoroopers, Jetstorm, Jetfire and Optimus himself.

    "Give it up Slipstream! You're outgunned, outnumbered and outmatched! " Optimus coldly declared, he really did not want for things to escalate but he figured the tough guy approach would really hammer Slipstream's predicament to her logic circuits. "Megatron and all the Decepticons have been apprehended! There's no one to bail you out of this mess, YOU'RE ALL ALONE!" Slipstream's in great pain just to even try to stand up. Sand and dust have marred her chassis and entered her vents and seams. She HATED that feeling but what she's hearing now from Optimus is even WORSE!

    "I..am...not...alone..." the pain's making even speech unbearable. diagnostic's  
telling her flight and weapons systems are all down. power is 60% at best. She can self  
repair the damages but it'll take time, and time is something she does not have.

    "Please, don't make this harder on yourself..." Optimus spoke with a tone of worry,  
she might be a dangerous Decepticon but he still sees this situation resolving peacefully, but it has to be done soon. Egyptian authorities are closing in on their location and Slipstream might consider a human casualties to be a suitable distraction to enable her escape. "No one's going to rescue you and you've got nowhere to hide!" Optimus signaled the two closest Autoroopers to close in to slap the stasis cuffs on her...

    "want...to bet...on that?" Slipstream let a sly smile escape her lips as one of the  
Autoroopers grabbed her arm. "PHAT PLANET!!!" She screamed and to the shock of everyone,  
assimilated herself to the Autorooper holding her. Optimus and the others can barely  
register what's happening when the Autorooper suddenly spoke, using Slipstream's voice.  
"You must be wondering why I've been hiding out here in Egypt Optimus? At first it was to escape that... force that's been trying to rip out my allspark fragment (Prowl's processor-over-matter trick in the episode Endgame part 2 of the TV series)! I kept flying as fast and as far away as I could and I wound up here. I lost all of my energon on that trip and crashed not far from here. I was certain that I was offline but He came and saved me. He took me into his mansion and somehow brought me back to life! He told me that he's been watching the news broadcasts overseas and was fascinated with our species and savored the chance to meet one of us in the flesh, so to speak."

    "And let me guess? It was fate that brought our two worlds, you and him together?"  
Optimus interrupted, trying to goad Slipstream to divulge the secret of her new power so  
that he may be able to save that poor Autorooper. He signals his troops to lower their  
weapons. Slipstream took the bait...

    "Not fate...gravity! It was gravity that brought me to him, as well as others. At  
first I was repulsed to find out a human saved me but over time, I found his  qualities...quite charming." Slipstream cooed that last line which threw Optimus off."Ever since I've come online, I've never really appreciated life till He showed me his views on life, death, the universe...heaven. Starscream may have given me life, but He gave me a reason to live... and that is to help him achieve 'Heaven'!" the Autorooper stood up and opened its arms, Slipstream is pantomiming that her benefactor's goal is to encompass all that is to achieve 'heaven'. "and to reach that goal, he had one of his minions bestow upon me this new power..."

    Optimus' plan is working. "Just a little more..." he thought to himself...

    "Everyone in his group has this power that they call 'stand', a power that is  
manifested from deep within one's psyche, and mine is called 'phat planet' and it's power enables me to assimilate myself into another. at first I found it to be a little...  
disappointing, seeing that any damage that whoever i assimilate into receives, is directly redirected to me..." the moment Slipstream mentioned her stand's weakness, the Autoroopers rushed to attack their beleaguered comrade, since any attack they will make will be dealt to Slipstream only, Optimus' warning that it's a trap came too little, too late...they have struck multiple fatal blows. They cannot see it but Slipstream's smiling "You boys should really let people finish what they're saying... as I was saying...all damaged redirected to me, oh my that's not it, my stand can redirect and multiply all damaged done to my host body a hundredfold BACK to the attacker!!!" the Autoroopers suddenly explode due to their amplified, redirected attacks "Hahahahahahahaha!!! Did you really think I'd fall to that cliche were the super villain gloats his/her ability and you goodie two shoes types will turn that info against me? Now it's just 4 of you, including this body, against me. the odds are now turning to my favor Optimus."

    Optimus is taken aback but something doesn't adds up. "If Slipstream can redirect all attacks back to their attackers, why isn't SHE on the offensive?" he thought. Having the twins form Safeguard is currently out of the question, so is the magnus hammer. He still has his tow cable, that might work...

    Slipstream's running out of options, the true drawback to Phat Planet's ability is if she stays for more than ten minutes on her host body, the body starts to eat itself and she won't be able to free herself when that happens. the only reason she's stalling is she's waiting to have enough repairs done to be able to fight or flee but not BOTH. Eight minutes has passed and her gambit to sucker them all into attacking failed, when Optimus and the brothers not joining in on the gang attack on her host body. She might be able to evade one flight capable Autobots but not THREE. She can't use her ability twice in succession (she almost paid the price for that when she was testing her stand's power when she first got it) and they have to touch HER, not the other way around for her stand to activate. Her only hope is that the commotion of giant robots fighting would've attracted other followers of her benefactor and come to her aid...
   
    On one of the rooftops, two figures are watching the battle "That whorebot's  attracting too much attention and sooo close to our master's domain. Shall we put our  
rivalry aside and eliminate that useless pile of junk first?" the first figure said to her colleague "Perhaps but we have to make it look like she screwed up or else our master would have our blood on his chalice tonight!"

    One minute left, Slipstream decides to run for it. She makes the Autorooper transform into vehicle mode and hightails it out of there. Optimus and the brothers fly in pursuit. Fifty seconds left, Slipstream drives like a maniac, ramming anything, ANYONE in front of her to make enough chaos to make the Autobotss stop and help. Thirty seconds left, only Optimus is left chasing her (the brothers are ordered to stop and assist the wounded), Slipstream makes a wrong turn and is greeted by a traffic jam. Ramming them will only slow her down, she decides to ram through the various shops and cafes (anything not brick and mortar). 5 seconds left, Slipstream bails on her host body and takes off! Her best bet is to lead Optimus back to her benefactor's mansion and let the guardian take care of him! All she needs is to get clear of the buildings so she can transform into jet mode for more speed. Nice plan but didn't know that the magnus hammer can summon lightning and she suffered a direct hit! Slipstream falls to the ground again...

    "It's over Slipstream!" Optimus raises the hammer over Slipstream's head. Slipstream's system's are failing, she's not sure if she's feeling suddenly electrical charges at her body akin to touching a thousand fuses. Her earlier gambit turned on her, she only has 5 seconds to use her stand but if she times it right, she might still be able to snatch a victory from the jaws of defeat! Slipstream starts cackling like a lunatic which slightly spooks Optimus "She's up to something..." he muses. Slipstream stops and her optics go blank, her body goes limp. Optimus pauses for a few moments. Is Slipstream playing possum or offline? He fires his tow cable and wraps it around her body "If she's playing possum, at least she won't be able to escape..." He moves in to grab her when sudden she opens her optics and says "Gotcha! Phat Planet!!!" Slipstreams assimilates herself into Optimus and immediately rams his head to the nearest hardest object within arm’s length...a road roller! At the last possible second, Slipstream bails on Optimus' body and watches as he makes enough force to embed the road roller 2 feet into the ground and send his body back from the whiplash!

    "I can't believe that worked!" sighs Slipstream, as she struggles to stand up. Flying's  out of the question, it's going to be hard but she can hide in a place with lots of machinery, probably reformat herself as a sports car to be less conspicuous (why she never did that in the first place, well some things are better viewed in hindsight). She never made past her first step when she her spark chamber was pierced by a high velocity projectile...a harpoon! Slipstream turned to where the attack came from and saw her attackers. "You....but why?!!"

    "We'll tell the master that you fought valiantly in his name when we come back to his mansion." the lady in the red hood uttered sarcastically. "He'll be sad that his latest toy's gone but we'll make sure that he's got better playthings to keep his mind on! ^_- " her partner in crime, wearing a scandalous belly dancer outfit teased while pointing at her crotch and chest. Both laughing as they leave.

    Slipstream's body falls to the floor, her life-force almost extinguished. The last  
sights she sees are the brothers tending to Optimus while the Autorooper she possessed  
is limping along, brandishing the stasis cuffs she would've been wearing. If she can cry, Slipstream would've done so, not because of her fate but because she failed her mission to her master. She flashes back to her first memory of him, standing tall, shirtless, magnificent blonde hair, his body almost flawless except for the odd stitches around his neck and the peculiar star shaped mark on his back.

    Her last words, that no one paid attention to was "Forgive me...Lord Dio!!!"
